About Me

James Horcasitas has been around rodeo since he was a little cowboy following his Dad and Uncle Dan around the roping arena on his small pony. James is also a former competitor in rodeo and has first hand experience of what rodeo athletes endure. That experience carries over into his announcing and allows James to share with the audience the life of a rodeo competitor.

"You need to paint a picture in each and every spectators mind of what is going on in the arena. You have people from every walk of life at the rodeo. I try to share my love of the sport at each and every show. I not only want the spectator to understand the sport history and where it is headed, but to see, hear and feel a little bit of the western way of life."
